Mr. ROBI is a practicing Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Chevening Scholar. He holds a Master of Laws degree in International Criminal Justice from the University of Kent, Canterbury, in the United Kingdom with a distinction. He is a graduate of Moi University, Eldoret and serves as a member of the Law Reform and Constitutional Review Committee of the Law Society of Kenya. He is experienced in policy and legislative drafting; constitutional law; legal compliance audits, human rights litigation, public international law, transnational criminal law and international criminal law.

He has worked in the firm of Rachier & Amollo Co. Advocates in the litigation and consultancy departments. He was instrumental in the research leading to various consultancies including the drafting of the Tourism Bill, The review of the Land laws, the review of the legal and regulatory framework of the insurance industry in Kenya and many others. He also worked with the Committee of Experts on Constitutional Review (COE) in the Research Drafting and Technical support department and greatly assisted the Committee in the delivery of the Constitution of Kenya 2010. He has engaged in various consultancies and spoken in many forums touching on the implementation of the new Constitution.
